It has always been a dream of mine to create a business centered around the mystery and wonder of nature’s most spectacular creations: diamonds, rubies, sapphires, emeralds, and the unique lustrous rainbow of colors they create.
I started my career just out of college as an apprentice to a jewelry wholesaler who create some of the magnificent pieces sold at retailers like Cartier. It was a chance encounter with Ronald Winston that led me to Harry Winston in New York. where I became the youngest salesperson in their history.
After 10 years at at Harry Winston, I was lured to Van Cleef & Arpels to become the manager of Sales Development, where I quickly came to appreciate the distinctive elegance and beauty of their designs.
In 1999, my lifelong dream came true. Laird & Company was founded with the specific goal of bringing clients the magnificent jewelry found in many Fifth Avenue homes, at just a fraction of the price. Now, 20 years later the company is thriving with an enviable list of clients that continues to grow. We look forward to welcoming you into our circle.
